Is It Dead Yet?

On March 7, the BOV unanimously voted to dissolve UVA's DEI apparatus.

UVA had 30 days to craft a plan to remove all evidence of DEI at UVA.

On April 7, President Ryan submitted a report to the BOV on what had been done to comply with the BOV’s DEI directive.

UVA declined to make that report public.

A FOIA request stated that the report was withheld under the exemption:
presidential correspondence.

Did they do it?

“The university historically has had some programs that cross the legal line.”
